An appeal to Baloch
Intellectuals, writers, Poets
and those who speak Balochi
Language : Save Balochi & Brahui
language from extinction !!!
Balochi language is under great
threat. In the ancient times,
Balochs who migrated to India
and Panjab and Sindh or were in
Afghanistan or in Iran..... have
ceased to speak their mother
tongue Balochi. The Baloch
tribes, who speak Brahui (Dravadians)
has also lost their mother
language in whole of India,
Afghanistan and tribal areas of
Pakistan.
It is the duty of Balochs and
those Baloch tribes, who speak
Brahui, to struggle to preserve
their mother tongue. For this
purpose, it is required, to
start this job on self-help
basis.
This great job shall pave way
for the recognization of Balochi
language as an official language
and a substantial grounds for
the formation of an Autonomous
Baloch Land.
(1) The learned scholers should
prepare primary books, both in
English and in Persian
alphabets. Such books should be
printed in Gulf-states, as they
have some financial resources.
(2) Social workers, residing in
the vicinity of every school in
Balochistan, should take the
responsibility to offer their
services, to get some "periods"
to learn the children in Balochi/
Brahui language ....free of
cost. Intellectuals, Poets,
writers, old and youngs must
offer their
services for this great cause.
(3) If we start with every year
say, ten schools, it shall be
enojugh.. Such schools must be
set for Balochs in Sindh and
Panjab but very essential to
establish in Karachi, where
Balochs have already mixed Urdu
with Balochi.
