I have been surfing around the net for last few hours....and watever was found...it is good enough to show me that Pakistani govts. have ever been hesitant to consider Balochistan a province...rather...it was considred as a colony..
I am a punjabi and let me make it clear to you that not a common punjabi is against baloch or balochistan....it is a bunch of people who is ruling and deciding....
I have spent a little time in quetta and loved the way the dealt with me....I had been to many other places in Balochistan as well....and noone inquired me...because i guess...a common baloch is sensible enough to understand that it is not a punjabi who is exploiting them but the authorities....the policy makers...the rulers...not us...for heavens Sake...:(

I have been referred to this site by a friend who met me for business. I was never aware of the people of Baluchistan who are suffering at the hands of Army regulars, Paramilitary forces and Intelligence Agencies. I am shocked to see pictures of people who just want to stay in their motherland. People of Baluchistan are being targeted as Military targets and their homes and fields are being bombarded with cluster bombs and air raids????!!!! What baffles me most is what is the fault of people, their families and their children in the quest for a decent life. By killing innocent youth and Baluch people what is the Government of Pakistan trying to achieve. On the other hand there are so many terrorist groups active in India in the name of liberating Kashmir and killing innocents on the other side of the border. I would like to ask Pakistan leaders why they can't bring peace to their own people and stop escalating terrorism in the region.
